Introducing The Beautiful and Amazing Miss M! This gorgeous little girl is such a bundle of joy and sweetness and all things good. Miss M. is a remarkable good baby. She went through several outfit changes, a nudey shoot, and got handled quite a bit. We even got a few pics of her handsome big brother holding her. Amazingly, she slept through the whole thing and only at the end were we able to snap a few pics of her amazing eyes. We see big things ahead for Miss M!

Miami Sand Angels [South Florida Family Photography]
This picture is for all my peeps in the frozen northeast. I wanted to post this pic because I was talking to a good friend last night about our weekends. While I was photographing kids making sand angles on a lake beach in Miami, she was making snow angels with her kids by a lake in New Hampshire. It is remarkable to me how different and how the same our lives can be. We also spotted the first baby duckies of the year: five fluffy floating golf balls drifting behind their mama on the lake. So here are my sand angels, Kriya and Lucas during our Valentines shoot. Looking forward to seeing your snow angels this year!!

Kriya & Lucas [South Florida Family Photography]
Kriya & Lucas are hysterically awesome. One, they are beautiful kids so it is hard to take a bad picture of them. But two, they are fun and smart and full of personality so the pictures you do get are that much more powerful. We did this family shoot for a Valentines Card. The kids came dressed in perfect outfits and had tons of ideas for fun stuff to do. Here are just a few of my favorites but it was so hard to choose!!

Great Gramma Ruby [Family Archival Restoration]
Here is a restoration that I am particularly proud of. The original image was a 4×6 print that had been in a frame for 30 years hanging on my parents’ dining room wall. I always loved this picture even though I looked kinda dopey in it. Little girls just don’t know you are not supposed to smile into cameras even if you are wearing an old-timey costume. So everyone else looks authentic and I look…well…like I’m playing dress up.
We took this picture on a trip to California to visit family. Great Gramma Ruby was particularly memorable as she was 86 years old and did somersaults with me in her backyard. I thought that was the coolest thing ever. Eighty years separated us but we both tumbled and played. One can only hope I can be half as nimble as she was when I’m 86.
