Piggies and Polkas In 4 Minutes Flat [Family Photography]

A snowy day in Boston was the perfect backdrop to a lightning fast family photo shoot in the South End.  Mom was ready with the kid hats as they pulled into the street parking I saved for them. Mr. Finn was unamused with piggies and snowflakes so Miss Lucy gladly modeled both hats.  She is a natural beauty and has got the modeling moves already!  Total time outside:  4 minutes. According to the metadata, our cute hat photo shoot was from 10:15 am – 10:19 am. Woot woot! From there we headed to Flour Bakery and rewarded ourselves with some yummy baked treats.  Mmmmm….sticky buns….

Miami Sand Angels [South Florida Family Photography]

This picture is for all my peeps in the frozen northeast. I wanted to post this pic because I was talking to a good friend last night about our weekends. While I was photographing kids making sand angles on a lake beach in Miami, she was making snow angels with her kids by a lake in New Hampshire. It is remarkable to me how different and how the same our lives can be.   We also spotted the first baby duckies of the year: five fluffy floating golf balls drifting behind their mama on the lake. So here are my sand angels, Kriya and Lucas during our Valentines shoot.  Looking forward to seeing your snow angels this year!!

Kriya & Lucas are hysterically awesome.  One, they are beautiful kids so it is hard to take a bad picture of them. But two, they are fun and smart and full of personality so the pictures you do get are that much more powerful. We did this family shoot for a Valentines Card.  The kids came dressed in perfect outfits and had tons of ideas for fun stuff to do. Here are just a few of my favorites but it was so hard to choose!!

Evelyn & Caraline [South Florida & New England Newborn Portraits]

Introducing Miss Evelyn and Miss Caraline! I got to meet these beautiful girls on a quiet night in Maine. They were so itsy bitsy but just melted your heart away. I love the progression of photos that showed their personalities so clear. We didn’t do a formal newborn shoot with lights and props and all that. This was just a quiet night in Maine with family and friends.
